Tuesday 21st March, 8am-8pm is your chance to vote in the Bishopsgate by-election and ensure that your voice is heard.
If you are a registered postal voter and haven’t yet submitted your ballot paper, you can turn up on Tuesday with the paperwork and submit it in person.
If you have lost your ballot paper or not received it, you can contact Electoral Services on: 0207 332 1430. They can issue you a new ballot paper on the spot.
I have met many voters over the past few weeks and the main areas of concern expressed to me are:
Homelessness- how to better approach this growing issue in our area?
Commuting- What are the plans to cope with the increased number of commuters as a result of Crossrail in late 2018?
Crime- The consistently high levels of crime in Bishopsgate mean that we have the highest footfall of Officers on the beat, within the City. What more can be done to reduce crime levels in our area?
Economic stability- How do we face the post-brexit economy? How and where do we get clarity from, to secure our future in The City?
There is a Wardmote today at Noon, in the Parish Hall, St Botolph without Bishopsgate, Bishopsgate, London, EC2M 3TL.
Why not come along and ask me about how I have addressed these concerns in my campaign?
